An outreach sequence that's running on paper but not actually sending invites is almost always one of a handful of things, and you can usually rule them out in under five minutes.
Start with your weekly outreach quota. TikTok caps how many new creator messages and Target Invites your shop can send per week based on your rolling 30-day GMV, and once you hit that ceiling, outreach sequences stop cold until the cap resets on Sunday. Open the Hubfluence dashboard and check the quota counter on the home page — if it's at zero or close to it, the system is doing exactly what it should and the fix is simply waiting for the weekly reset.
If quota looks healthy, the next thing to check is whether there are actually creators left inside your filters to contact. If your targeting is narrow or you've already messaged most creators that fit those filters, the outreach sequence can run out of eligible accounts and stop sending. This happens pretty often on older campaigns or heavily filtered creator lists.
If both quota and creator availability look good, stop the outreach sequence and restart it from the dashboard. Restarts force the system to re-fetch product data, refresh audience filters, and re-establish its connection to the TikTok API, which clears the most common stuck states. A large percentage of "not sending" tickets end up resolving with a clean restart alone.
Another thing that can happen is temporary TikTok-side rate limiting. Sometimes TikTok slows down or pauses outreach activity depending on messaging volume, API load, or platform-side restrictions. In those cases the outreach sequence may still appear active, but sends are temporarily throttled in the background until the limit cools off.
Last check is the TikTok Shop integration itself. If your auth token has silently expired — which occasionally happens after periods of inactivity or after TikTok pushes API-side changes — the outreach sequence can look active while every send call is actually failing behind the scenes. Head into Settings, open Integrations, disconnect TikTok Shop, then reconnect using the secure auth flow. Restart the outreach sequence once the integration shows green and outreach should resume within a few minutes.
