Email outreach does not send from a shared Hubfluence address. It sends from a domain you own, which means two separate integrations have to be connected before your first email sequence goes out. This article covers both, what each one unlocks, and what breaks if you only connect one.
Quick answer
Email outreach in Hubfluence needs two separate integrations, both found under Settings, Apps and Integrations. The email domain integration authorizes Hubfluence to send from your own domain or subdomain, and it is required before any email sequence will send. Connecting your Gmail workspace is what brings creator replies into the Email Hub. Hubfluence does not send creator outreach from a Hubfluence address on your behalf.
The two integrations you need
Both live in the same place, but they do different jobs, and connecting one does not connect the other.
Email domain integration. Authorizes Hubfluence to send outreach from your own domain or subdomain. This is the one that makes email sequences actually send. Without it, a sequence has no authorized address to send from.
Gmail workspace integration. Pulls creator replies into the Email Hub so your team can read and answer them inside Hubfluence instead of logging into the mailbox.
Connect your sending domain
Open Settings, go to Apps and Integrations, and connect the email domain integration. Point it at the domain or subdomain you want creator outreach to come from, for example [email protected].
Many teams send cold outreach from a dedicated subdomain like go.yourbrand.com, so outreach reputation stays separate from the main domain their customers and invoices rely on.
Your domain also needs SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records in DNS before mailbox providers will trust it. That is a one-time setup and it is covered step by step in How to set up your email domain for outreach sequences.
Connect your Gmail workspace
The second integration handles the inbound side. Connect your Gmail workspace from the same Apps and Integrations page, and every reply to your email outreach flows into the Email Hub, threaded per creator.
This is also what lets a team work replies without handing anyone the login to the brand mailbox. Only emails tied to your Hubfluence outreach appear in the hub, so the rest of that inbox stays private.
Do I have to use my own domain?
Yes. There is no option to send creator outreach from a Hubfluence address instead. Cold outreach from a shared sender would put every customer on the same sending reputation, so sending is tied to a domain you control and authenticate yourself.
The upside is that the reputation you build belongs to you, replies come back to an address you own, and creators see a real business address rather than a third-party sender.
What happens if you only connect one
If the email domain integration is missing, email sequences will not send. This is one of the first things to check when an email sequence looks live but nothing is going out.
If the Gmail workspace is missing, sends still work, but replies will not appear in the Email Hub. They go to the mailbox the outreach was sent from, and your team has to work them there instead.
Targeting creators who actually have an email
An email sequence only reaches creators who have a public email on their profile in the Hubfluence database, so targeting matters as much as the integrations.
You can apply the email filters in Social Intelligence and in AI Creator Search to build a list of creators with an email on file. You can also skip the manual step: choosing the email outreach sequence flow inside Outreach Sequences automatically filters your audience down to creators who have an email on their profile.
