Outreach sequences are how you run creator outreach on autopilot inside Hubfluence. Instead of paying a VA to copy-paste the same message a thousand times, you set up the targeting and copy once, then the sequence handles the sending in the background.
Quick answer
An outreach sequence is a saved flow that automatically sends your message to creators matching filters you choose, across two independent channels: native TikTok DMs (Target Collab, Open Collab, and regular DMs) and email that runs through Hubfluence. You set the audience, the copy, and a send window once, turn it on, and the sequence sends within TikTok's limits until you pause it or run out of matching creators. Replies land in your Message Hub.
What an outreach sequence actually is
An outreach sequence is a saved outreach flow that sends your message to creators that match the filters you choose. Once it is live, the sequence picks up where it left off, sends within your chosen time window, and keeps going until you pause it or run out of matching creators. You do not need anyone clicking send. No VA, no Slack pings at 2am, no "did anyone reach out to those creators yet?" The sequence does that.
The channels a sequence can use
Outreach sequences run across two completely separate systems. The first is TikTok DMs sent natively inside TikTok, which covers Target Collab messages, Open Collab messages, and regular DMs (with images attached if you want to send a product shot or a brief). The second is email outreach sequences, which run entirely through Hubfluence and have nothing to do with TikTok. The two sides are independent: run one, the other, or both in parallel to the same creator list.
The limits you need to know about
On TikTok, TikTok itself caps how many outreach messages an account can send per day. That is a TikTok rule, not a Hubfluence rule. Our sequences stay inside those caps so your account does not get throttled or flagged. If you have a big creator list, the sequence spreads the sends over multiple days until it works through everyone. On email, volume is based on your Hubfluence plan tier, higher tiers get a higher monthly send allowance, and you can upgrade for more headroom.
Setting one up
The flow is simple:
Build your filters and pick the audience. Go as narrow as "US-based beauty creators, 50k to 250k followers, posting in the last 30 days" or keep it broad while you figure out what converts.
Write the message. For TikTok you can attach an image. For email you can build a multi-step sequence with follow-ups.
Set the send window so messages go out when creators are awake and likely to reply, not at 4am their time.
Turn it on. Once it is live, the sequence takes over. Close your laptop, it keeps running.
How often the sequence updates
The sequence is not instant. It processes new sends on a recurring cycle, roughly every four hours. So do not switch it on and refresh five seconds later expecting ten messages out the door. Give it a cycle, then check your stats. This is on purpose: slower, steadier sending looks more human, stays well inside TikTok's limits, and avoids the burst-then-ban pattern.
Pausing, editing, and duplicate prevention
You can pause a sequence at any time, and edits to copy or filters take effect on the next cycle, not retroactively. To avoid messaging the same creator twice, exclude creators already messaged or build a blacklist:
You can run multiple sequences at once (one per product, niche, or angle), and any replies show up in your Message Hub for your team to pick up.
