Why am I getting a “Request failed with status code 404”?

If you're seeing a 404 error, here's what it means and how to fix it

Updated over a month ago

This error usually looks like this:

“Error starting campaign: Request failed with status code 404”

It means the system couldn’t find a required resource (usually a TikTok product or linked bot configuration) at the time you clicked “Start Campaign.”

But don’t worry, this happens most commonly after periods of inactivity, TikTok token expirations, or connection drops.

✅ How to Fix It:

  1. Refresh the page (most common fix)

    • In most cases, reloading the page will re-sync your TikTok Shop products and reconnect the right endpoints.

    • Once refreshed, retry launching your campaign.

  2. Double-check your product selection

    • Make sure a TikTok product is selected and valid (not deleted or expired).

    • If needed, re-select or re-link the product before starting the bot again.

  3. Reconnect your TikTok Shop

    • Go to Settings → Integrations

    • Disconnect and reconnect your TikTok Shop account

    • Then retry launching the campaign
