Cards expire. Banks flag charges. It happens. When a Hubfluence payment fails, Stripe doesn't immediately cut you off. It retries the charge up to three times across several days, and you'll get email reminders along the way prompting you to update your payment method.
If every retry fails, a few things happen automatically. Your Hubfluence access pauses, any active outreach campaigns stop sending, and you'll need a working card on file before service resumes. None of your data is deleted during this window, so you won't lose creator lists, message history, or campaign settings.
Restoring access is straightforward. Head into Settings, open the Billing tab, and click Edit Payment Information to swap in a working card. The system auto-charges the new method right after, and your account is back live within a few minutes.
If the new card still gets declined, the culprit is usually on your bank's end. International cards sometimes need approval before Stripe can run them, and some banks throw a hold on subscription charges by default. Quick call to your bank's fraud line usually clears it.
