What is the Auto-Responder Agent?

Reply to incoming creator messages in your Message Hub automatically using your own FAQ knowledge base.

Written by Michael Tona

The Auto Responder Agent handles the repeat-question avalanche that every active creator program eventually generates, so your team only touches the conversations that actually need judgment.

Quick answer

The Auto Responder Agent auto-replies to incoming creator messages using an FAQ knowledge base you build in your own brand voice. It scans every message in your Message Hub, and when it is confident the message matches a saved question, it replies instantly. Low-confidence or non-matching messages route back to a human. You control active hours, timezone, and an on/off toggle, and you can review every reply in the Activity Log.

How the matching works

Every incoming creator message in your Message Hub gets scanned against your FAQ list. When the agent has high confidence the message is asking one of your saved questions, it auto-replies with your preset answer in real time. When confidence is low or the question does not match anything in your library, the message routes back to the Message Hub for a human reply. Creators with non-standard questions still get a real answer, and your team only handles the conversations that need judgment.

Which questions to automate

The questions worth automating are the ones that come up over and over in any active program: "Do you offer free samples?" "What commission rate are you running?" "Do you work with smaller creators?" "What kind of content should I make?" "Do you offer retainer deals?" "How do I get approved?" Every one is a 30-second answer your team types ten times a day. The agent types it instantly and your team gets that time back.

Controlling when the agent replies

Control lives in the agent config. Set your timezone, choose active hours (most brands run the agent between 8am and 11pm in their primary market so creators do not get midnight auto-replies that feel off), and toggle the agent on or off whenever you need. You can also pause it during a launch window where you want every reply to come from a human.

Oversight and tuning

Performance and oversight live in two places. Analytics shows how many messages the agent handled across any date range, broken out by which FAQ matched and how often. The Activity Log shows every individual reply the agent sent, in full, so you can spot-check accuracy and refine FAQ entries that are misfiring. Most operators tune their FAQ library twice in the first month, then leave it running.
