Top Categories surfaces the TikTok Shop categories getting the most traction this week, ranked by attributed GMV and creator volume.

Top Categories sits one layer above Top Brands and Top Products, giving you a market-wide read on which TikTok Shop categories are growing, saturating, or quietly leaving room for a new entrant. It's the right screen for the strategic question that comes before product selection: where should we actually be playing?

Each category in the table includes the metrics that decide whether a niche is worth entering: total number of products listed, number of brands competing, 30-day sales volume, 30-day video volume, 30-day total views, and average price point across the category. Together these tell you whether a niche is hot or cooling, whether it's dominated by a few large brands or fragmented across many small ones, and whether content saturation has hit the point where breaking through requires more creative differentiation than the current leaders are putting in.
